Comfort Drink: Saint’s Alp Teahouse
I’m feeling really sick and crappy. I was supposed to just rest but obviously that is not what I am doing right now. One of the things that never fails to cheer me up and make me feel better is — good food!!! The other day, I decided to try out this new tea shop near my office. I’ve been hearing a lot about Saint’s Alps, so I wanted to try it out for myself.
The place is nice and different from the usual tea shops here in Manila. The place is cozy and quiet :)

The bright and cozy feel of the place is perfect for meetings and hangouts.
This is what we ordered — Black Milk Tea and Taro Milk Tea! Even if I LOVE drinking Milk Tea, I’m also trying to cut down on sweets, that is why I really appreciate those teashops who gives their customer the option to choose the sugar level or even ice level. Sad to say, Saint’s Alp doesn’t have that option, but with what I tried the other day I can say that their mix is just perfect. Not too sweet and bland either. I love it!
They also serve snacks! I will definitely try them next time!

Food: Chuan Guo Yan Yi
Chuan Guo Yan Yi is said to be one of the best Sichuan Restaurant in Guangzhou, China. Sichuan is known for its liberal use of garlic, red chili peppers and Shichuan peppercorn in a dish. I’ve always been a fan of spicy food so the idea of eating in this restaurant gave me an instant pop!
The place was clean and very spacious.
It is best to eat their dishes with beer :)
Everyone inside the restaurant is eating this dish so we also tried this dish!
Look at the face of the fish. From the looks of it, seems like it was screaming to death cos of too much spice!
I’m not a big fan of eel but this one is the best! So good!
Sweet Buns with milk for dessert!
Chuan Guo Yan Yi is definitely an epic tongue numbing experience. If you happen to be in Guangzhou and up for a challenge, then this restaurant is a must!

American Idol Tour in Manila
My friend gave us free concert pass for the American Idol Tour. To be honest, I’m not really a big fan of the reality show and I didn’t even watch a single episode. I don’t know any of them, I’m only familiar with one of the girls who happens to be a Fillipina. The concert was pretty awesome though!
